Information for Freshman with Disability or a Chronic Illness

Dear students,

Welcome to the University of Mannheim. My name is Stefanie Knapp and it is my job to help you with any issues you might have to deal with in your day-to-day life as a student with a disability or a chronic illness.

For example, if you need to apply for special materials or disadvantage compensation for examinations. You are welcome to say hello right at the beginning of your studies. This way, I can put you on our mailing list and you will receive regular information for students with a disability. You might also be interested in the Buddy program of the student committee AStA and the Commissioner and Counselor for disabled students: Meet fellow students in higher semesters who will gladly share their experiences at the university and of their every day student life.
I look forward to meeting you and wish you a great start at the university!
